Han Kee Juan
Han Kee Juan is currently the Principal of Singapore Ballet Academy. He started teaching in the 1970s and has since trained many dancers including prize winners in international ballet competitions as well as principals and soloists of internationally renowned dance companies. His dance career began in Singapore, where he started training at ten with Florrie Sinclair and then with Goh Soo Khim. Upon graduation from the Australian Ballet School, he was invited to dance with the Sydney Dance Company, then the Goh Ballet in Canada, where he was also trained by Lin Yee Goh to teach the Russian method. Additionally, he was Principal Dancer with the Indianapolis Ballet Theatre and was a Soloist with the Boston Ballet. He has directed the Arizona Ballet School, The Washington School of Ballet and was also a faculty member of the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts and a co-founder of the American Ballet competition. With his wide experience in guest teaching and having taught internationally, he was also frequently invited to adjudicate at dance competitions.
He was awarded 5 prestigious teaching awards including recipient of The Excellence in Teaching Award at UNCSA. Han Kee Juan was also named best Teacher/Coach at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2000 and 2015, and in 2008 received the Dance Teacher Award for best teacher of the year. Under his Directorship, The Washington School of Ballet was awarded the Best Youth Dance Performance by Washington DC/Metro Dance and also awarded the Outstanding School Award at the Youth America Grand Prix each year in the 6 years of competing. He was on the cover of Dance Teacher Magazine and featured as the Teacher of Men including a mention in the Singapore Encyclopedia.

Sarassanan Chaisinlapin (Tae)
Sarassanan Chaisinlapin was originally from Lamphun, Thailand, and has been trained classical ballet at Chiang Mai Ballet Academy since the age of four. She graduated from Chiang Mai University, BA in English. Sarassanan successfully completed RAD Advanced level in classical ballet, CSTD Awarded level in jazz-ballet and successfully accomplished Martin Rubinstein Award of the CSTD classical major syllabus. She took many dance workshops held
in Thailand, Singapore and Australia. Sarassanan is certified in RAD Ballet teaching (CBTS program); assessed in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Junior, Senior & Advanced Programs; and continuing professional development in Vaganova method annually with Mr.Pedro Carneiro.
Sarassanan was first appeared with the Bangkok City Ballet Company during 2009. In 2014, she was promoted to a principle dancer. Her repertoire includes The Nutcracker, Don Quixoté, Coppélia, Raymonda’s Grand Pas, Swan Lake, Grand pas of Flower Festival in Genzano, Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphied, Paquita’s Grands pas and La Bayadère. In addition to classical ballet, she is also active for contemporary dance in many productions of new promising choreographers; such as Drifting into I (2023), Unfolding (2019), Synergy of Love (2019) and etc. Sarassanan was invited to perform in the “Chorea Gala 2019”, an international dance festival, in Bratislava, The Slovak Republic.
Experiencing herself in teaching ballet (since 2000), participating in many international dance competitions (held in Thailand and overseas) and coaching
students for dance competitions; Sarassanan has a great chance to become a Bangkok City Ballet’s Ballet Mistress. She choreographed and directed some works for the company, including Cinderella: Originally Bangkok City Ballet’s version (2025), The Nutcracker: Kingdom of Snow (2024), Don Quixoté: Divertissement (2023), Paquita’s grand pas classique (2023), La Sylphide (2022), The Nutcracker: a short diverse interpreted version (2021), and Iris (2019).
At present, she is a Ballet Mistress and an Assistance Director of Bangkok City
Ballet Company.
Lately, Sarassanan was invited to conduct ballet masterclasses and to join the Jury Panel of The Great Indian Ballet Competition (GIBC) 2025 in Mumbai, India.
