Image of Colours
Choreographed by Anthony Meh
Image of Colours is a contemporary dance piece inspired by the abstract artistry of Malaysia’s National Visual Artist, Dato’ Syed Ahmad Jamal. The work transforms the stage into a living canvas, where dancers move like brushstrokes—fluid, layered, and expressive.
Through the interplay of motion and space, the choreography captures the essence of the artist’s bold colours and spiritual depth, offering a visual and emotional tribute that transcends mediums. Image of Colours invites audiences to experience painting through dance, celebrating the enduring power of art in motion.
